SUMMARY
The Order Fulfillment Specialist’s primary function is to support eCommerce distribution by performing the job duty of online order fulfillment operations. This involves order inspection, packaging, and shipment. All Order Fulfillment Specialists are responsible for general work upkeep and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly work environment. The Order Fulfillment Specialist works on an hourly basis in adherence with company quotas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Order Fulfillment Specialist include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
PACKING AND SHIPPING
- Packs orders to ensure the integrity of the contents while in-transit to the customer
- Responsible for shipping any and all outgoing packages or boxes
- Must assemble, label and complete system transaction of shipping for each individual shipment
- Ensures all transactions are executed correctly and appropriately by status
QUALITY CONTROL
- Review all picked orders for accuracy, correct quantity, and size
- Scan all picked items/orders into the inventory management system
- Identify incorrect/short shipped items and immediately notify supervisor
- Perform a second quality check to ensure the error has been corrected
- Report duplicate, returned, damaged and cancelled orders to Order Fulfillment Leadership
QUOTA EXPECTATIONS
- Quotas are tier based levels and are determined by area of work within Order Fulfillment
- Required to obtain posted minimum quota tier based on area of work within Order Fulfillment Quality
OTHER EXPECTATIONS
- Knowledge of all products carried by Nehemiah Manufacturing Company & our clients
- Communicate warehouse issues to Supervisor / Manager (e.g.: Misplaced products, products missing bin locations, unlabeled product, inventory discrepancies etc)
- Assist in other areas when deemed necessary by Order Fulfillment Leadership

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to communicate effectively
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- 1-2 years experience in shipping or receiving or related warehouse positions, preferred
- Ability to work alone as well as in small teams and/or groups
- Ability to lift heavy packages up to 30lbs throughout a minimum of an 8 hour day
- Ability to prepare necessary paperwork and documents, as well as read, sort, and verify packages
- Basic mathematical skills, basic reading skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Moderate physical activity; Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 30 pounds and standing, sitting and/or walking for more than eight hours per day
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning
